Where better to start with aerial photos of Manchester than with Coronation Street , Manchester's most famouse building.

Above is an aerial photo of Manchester s best known street " Coronation Street ". In the TV program it pretends to be in Salford but in reality its a TV set in the middle of Manchester. Note the background photo on the wall and the fake house backs behind the street. In the TV show that bridge caries the railway but as you can see in reality its used for parking.

See, it doesn't always rain in Manchester. This was taken on probably the best day of 2005 and you can see for miles. The city is currently something of a boom town with new buildings springing up everywhere.

Above is Manchester s newest landmark, the Beetham Tower , taken while it was being built in the summer of 2005. We have many views of this building so email if your searching for a particular angle.

If you are looking to buy a particular aerial view of Manchester then email us the location. After years working on our Manchester aerial photography we have a stock image library running into thousands of photographs, and if we haven't got an image to suit we can take one specially. We fly from Barton Aerodrome which is a grass airfield situated next to the M60 ring road conveniently near the city centre so we are always available for that sudden urgent photo shoot or construction progress shoot. In fact from overhead the aerodrome we can see the city centre so are often able to dash in in a short sunny spell on an otherwise rainy day.
